In this one-day workshop, participants will explore the decorative technique of sgraffito — carving through layers of coloured slip to reveal intricate designs beneath. Students will explore surface imagery, focusing on line, contrast, personal iconography, and mark-making.
Each participant will receive one porcelain form to complete, using sgraffito to develop their own surface imagery.
No previous experience is required — just a love of drawing, line, and discovery.
Cost $140.00 + GST
Includes: Catered lunch included. All materials & firing of one porcelain completed form included. Finished pieces will be available for pick-up after two weeks.
