Discover the joy of working with clay on the potter’s wheel. This one-day, hands-on class is designed as a tasting for absolute beginners. You’ll learn the very basics of wheel throwing including centering, pulling, and shaping clay.
Class is taught by Tony Clennell and hosted by Amber Zuber. Professional instruction and a commitment to craft are at the heart of everything we aim to offer at Potter’s Creek Studios. Our courses are small, intimate, and focused on giving students a strong foundation in ceramics.
Learning to throw is challenging and fun. Tony has been teaching and throwing for decades, he'll guide you as you learn basic skills in ceramics in a relaxed and supportive studio setting. No experience or tools needed, just bring your curiosity and a willingness to learn.
